| Alphabet
Practice |
- Alphabet recitation.
Listen and learn to recite the Greek alphabet from memory.
- Alphabet crossword. Have
fun working on a Greek alphabet crossword puzzle. Print out the puzzle and
complete it, then check your answers.
I am indebted to Greek
'n' Stuff for this activity.
- Alphabet
quiz. Probably the best Greek alphabet site on the web
is Alphabet
grec by François J. Bayard; but unfortunately it is a French site. By
permission of the author, I have adapted the testing feature of this site
for English speakers. Note that Monsieur Bayard has divided the alphabet
into five categories that correspond with some of the categories we have
learned above: liquids (Beta Band), gutturals (Gamma Group), dentals
(Delta Division), continuants (Lambda Legion), and vowels (Vowels).
