When a feminine first declension noun has a stem ending in e, i, or r the following singular endings are used.

  Feminine

Given the fact that Black uses the Greek word for "day" as the paradigm for this subset of first declension nouns, we may call it the h`me,ra type.

Sibilant Stems (do,xa Type)
When a feminine first declension noun has a stem ending in a sibilant consonant it will have the following singular endings.

  Feminine

Nom a
Gen hj
Dat h|
Acc an

We may refer to this as the do,xa type of first declension noun.

Other Stems (fwnh, Type)
When a feminine first declension noun has a stem that ends in any other letter than those of the preceding paradigms, it will have the following singular endings.

Gen hj
Dat h|
Acc hn

We may refer to this as the fwnh, type of first declension noun.
