You
will not need to learn any new points of grammar in this module.
Instead, the module will focus on more morphology. By
this point in the semester (if not already weeks ago!) you have
reached a point of saturation when it comes to learning endings.
Don't worry. This is perfectly natural. But don't give up. Keep
reviewing what you have learned up until now, as well as adding
new forms to your mental database of verbal suffixes. In
this module we will be concentrating on three sets of verb forms,
all based on the secondary middle suffixes. |

Module Notes |
| These module notes
supplement material in Black, Learn, Chapter 14.
(1) Imperfect
Middle/Passive Indicative
(2) Aorist
Middle Indicative
We will not include a section on the
pluperfect middle/passive indicative on this webpage: (a) because
Black's discussion is more than adequate (Learn §96); and
(b) because the pluperfect is rarely used in the Greek New
Testament.
